Corbin man arrested for burglarizing old CTA Acoustics building

James Jones
A Corbin man is facing burglary and trespassing charges after he was found inside the former CTA Acoustics building on Myers Baker Road Wednesday night.
According to Laurel County Sheriff’s Public Affairs Officer Gilbert Acciardo, the owner confronted James F. Jones, 33, on the property in North Corbin about 5:40 p.m.
"There mere fact that he was on the property and in the building led to the charges," Acciardo said.
Deputy Milton Storm responded and took Jones into custody on charges of third-degree burglary and first-degree criminal trespassing.
"The story he told was that he didn’t know the property was posted as, ‘No trespassing,’" Acciardo said, adding that the property is fenced off.
Deputies are searching for another suspect who ran off from the site. Acciardo said no description of the second suspect is available.
Jones was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center where he is being held on a $25,000 cash bond.

you need to look up what his changes mean
Its funny all of these people that are breaking into places. Why dont you get a job you low life sob’s. I understand that times are hard right now, but there is work out there. But thanks to our government of promoting welfare checks, and not jobs we are encouraging this kind of activity. I think this guy should get about 5 years in prison. That would teach the other “idiots” that crime doesnt pay.
I thought the CTA building was on American Greeting Rd. and that Myers Baker Rd. is in London behind Wal-Mart.
