Corbin FRYSC looking for Angel Tree sponsors
Corbin Independent Family Resource and Youth Services Centers are looking for sponsors for Angel Tree students. There are 206 students on the list compared to 153 from last year, and instead of sponsors getting a name and having to purchase an entire child, they have the options to help as much or as little as they can.
Corbin FRYSC knows that everything has increased in price this year, and families that usually sponsor are feeling the struggle of inflation. This option allows someone who wishes to contribute a small amount to still feel as though they are making a difference.
Amazon gift lists are being utilized this year. Each center has a link with the student’s items listed. Sponsors just go online, pick out the items they wish to purchase, and they are automatically mailed to the school.
Students on the Angel Tree could receive a shirt, pair of pants, shoes and a wish/fun item. Sponsors may contact the FRYSC at one of the schools for the link. They are also located on the Corbin Independent FRYSC Facebook page.
Sponsors can also drop a check by a school if they would rather someone “shop” for them.
