Corbin Arena set to host several exciting shows in the New Year

The Corbin Arena has made several major announcements during the closing months of 2022, and tickets are still available for some high profile shows that are scheduled to take place after the New Year.

Currently, Styx is slated to return to Corbin for a show at the Arena on Friday, Jan. 6. The band rose to rock prominence in the 70s and 80s thanks to hits as Come Sail Away, Blue Collar Man and Mr. Roboto.

On Sunday, Jan. 15, the Arena will once again welcome in the superstars of World Wrestling Entertainment as they present the WWE Sunday Stunner live event. The show will feature some of the biggest names in the WWE today, including Seth “Freakin” Rollins, The Miz, Becky Lynch and many more.

Finally, also making their return to Corbin in January will be the Harlem Globetrotters, who will wow crowds with their antics and feats of athleticism on the basketball court on Friday, Jan. 27.

Hard rock bands Anthrax and Black Label Society will be in town for a show on Tuesday, Feb. 7, along with special guests Exodus, followed by fan-favorite events such as the Monsters of Destruction monster truck rally and Super Bull professional bull riding in March.

As we enter the spring season, the Corbin Arena will host several music legends across various genres, including the I Love the 90s Tour, which features Rob Base, All-4-One, Color Me Badd, Tone Loc, and headliner Vanilla Ice of Ice, Ice Baby fame. This show is scheduled for Saturday, April 8.

On Saturday, May 13, blues legend Buddy Guy will bring his “Damn Right Farewell” tour to Corbin, along with special guest Eric Gales. A multiple-time Grammy award winner, Guy is credited with influencing some of the most well-known guitarists in history, helping to pave the way for such all-time greats as Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Arena Director Kristi Balla said she is excited about the upcoming slate of shows, and she is looking forward to making additional announcements in the New Year.
