Corbin Academic Team wins 49th District tournament

The Corbin High School Academic team was named the winners on Saturday at the 49th District High School Governor’s Cup tournament hosted by Lynn Camp.
The students’ combined written assessment and team quick recall scores resulted in Corbin bringing home the overall winner award.
The Corbin Quick Recall team placed first, and the school’s Future Problem Solvers team also won first place.

Whitley County High School’s academic team was named runner-up at the tournament.
The Whitley County Quick Recall team placed second, and individual team members placed in the written assessment competition.
