Construction worker injured after 30-foot fall at new Whitley Judicial Center site

A man working on the new Whitley County Judicial Center in Williamsburghad to be flown a Lexington hospital Monday after a falling off a 30-foot scaffold.
The man, who has been identified as Shawn Henderson, was apparently doing masonry work when he fell and was temporarily knocked unconscious. Whitley County EMS treated the victim at the scene. Williamsburg Fire Chief James Privett said that firefighters set up a landing zone about 8:20 a.m. at the Briar Creek Park baseball field. An Air Evac. Life Team helicopter landed and flew the victim to the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
Privett said that the victim apparently suffered minor cuts, bruises, and a couple of cracked ribs, but otherwise was expected to recover.
