Construction delays on I-75 in Whitley County to begin Tuesday

A portion of Interstate 75 in Whitley County will be reduced to one lane beginning Tuesday.

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet officials said northbound I-75 at milepoint 12.1 will be affected.

Crews will close the right lane in the area from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday to perform maintenance operations.

Motorists are asked to expect delays and use caution while traveling through the work zone.

The dates and times of the closures may be adjusted because of inclement weather.
