Clyde Davis
Clyde Davis, age 77, of White Oak (Duff), Tennessee passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024, at the Jellico Regional Hosptial. He was born July 21, 1946, in Jellico, Tennessee. Clyde was a member of the Little White Oak Independent Missionary Baptist Church since May 1980 where he was a deacon for over 41 years. He loved his family, working with his cattle and anything with a steering wheel. He loved to eat, loved his friends & community, but most of all He Loved God!!
Clyde is preceded in death by his father, Vaitor Davis; mother, Frankie Mae (Taylor) Davis; brother, Bobby Davis; nephews, Little Man, Daniel Davis, and Joe Carroll; brothers-in-law, Tommy Joe Burkett, K.T. Carroll, Willie Gene Ayers, Junior Malicoat, Jerry Malicoat, Harold Burkett and wife Marie; sisters-in-law, Shirley Davis, and Sherry Davis.
He is survived by his wife of over 54 years, Patsy Ann (Burkett) Davis; son, Anthony Davis; daughter, Bridgette Allen and husband Tim; granddaughters, Carissa Allen, and Amelia Davis; brothers, Lloyd Davis and wife Judy, Kenneth Davis, Wayne Davis, Carl Davis and wife Patty, David Davis, Ralph Davis and wife Jackie, Kelley Davis and wife Vickie; sisters, Dorothy Baldwin and husband Ed, Inez Roberts, Delana Davis, Audrey Hamblin and husband Lynn; brother-in-law, Ronnie Malicoat; sisters-in-law, Donna Burkett, Bobby Carroll, Sue Davis, Jean Malicoat, and Mary Jean Ayers; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends to mourn his passing.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, February 1, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel
Funeral service will be at 12 pm on Friday, February 2, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Larry Kitts and Bro. Don Whited officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oddfellow Cemetery in Duff, TN.
Military Honors will be given by the Jellico Honor Guard
Harp Funeral Home of Jellico in charge of arrangements.
