Christian I. Miller
Christian I. Miller, known affectionately as Chris, was born on the 2nd of April, 1937 in Kalona, IA.
He peacefully passed away on the 25th of February 2024.
A long-time resident of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Chris was a man who valued family above all else.
He was a dedicated father and grandfather, always willing to lend a hand or share a story. He was a well-respected truck driver before retiring, known for his hard work and reliability. He also pulled recreational vehicles, and Betty occasionally drove as a partner.
Chris is survived by his loving children and their spouses, Cheryl Miller Sanko (Peter) of Philidelphia, PA., Arden Miller (Theresa) of Sterling, AK, Jannelle Foster (Jeff) of Mesquite, TX, Connie Bunch of Corbin, KY., Louise Yount (Brian) of Williamsburg, KY, Elizabeth Thomas of Williamsburg, KY. and Hoytt Canada of Williamsburg, KY. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Stephanie, Samuel, Bailey, Tristen, Ashely, Brandon, Gabrielle, David, Rachael, Rick, Jana, Demi, Jason, Christopher, Jessica, Matthew, Aaron, Chuck, Cheyanne, Brianna, and his great-grandchildren, Kyler, Jace, Stetson, Grayson, and Zander. His daughters-in-law, Sherry (Canada) Smith, also survives him.
Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Ira O. Miller and Fanny (Yoder) Miller; his beloved wife, Betty Miller; his sons, Jeffery and Charles Canada; and his siblings, Jonas, Roman, Chester Miller, and Irene Bender.
A funeral service for Chris will be held at the Croley Funeral Home, located at 103 South 2nd Street, Williamsburg, Kentucky on Wednesday, February 28, at 3:00pm.
This will be followed by a burial service at Canadatown Cemetery, located at Jim Walker Road, Williamsburg, Kentucky, at 4:00pm on the same day.
A visitation will also be held at the Croley Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 28, at 2:00pm.
