Cheryl D. Sams McCracken

Cheryl D. Sams McCracken, age 52, of London, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019, in London, as the result of an automobile accident.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Clifford Sams and Donola “Dolie” Leisure Sams; and by her brother, Donald Wayne Sams.

Cheryl was a joyful person who loved to sing and make people smile.

She is survived by her children, Timothy Sams and wife, Melanie, and Amanda Gambrel and husband, Jonah; sister, Rhonda Sizemore and husband, Tim; grandchildren, Jack Gambrel, Leo Sams and Brice Sams; and by several aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 26, from 12 noon until the time of her service at 2 PM at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sams Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made to the funeral home to help with expenses. Those wishing to donate may do so by clicking the red “donate now” icon.  The family of Cheryl McCracken will be given a list of all who donate.
