Charles Ray Butler

Charles Ray Butler, age 49, of Horse Creek Road, Corbin, Kentucky departed this life on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Baptist Health in Corbin, Kentucky. He was born on March 3, 1972 in Richmond, Virginia to John R. and Elsie (Adams) Butler. He is preceded in death by his father, John R. Butler.

He is survived by two children, Lucas Butler and Isabelle Butler of Corbin; two step-children, Chloe Miller and Gracie Miller of Corbin; companion and mother of his children, Samantha Miller of Corbin; mother, Elsie Butler of Powhatan, Virginia; two sisters, Karen Mahon of Cumberland, Virginia and Deborah Parsons (David) of Chester, Virginia; two brothers, Roy Butler and Jerry Butler of Powhatan, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 2, at Croley Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Meadors officiating. Following the service he will be laid to rest in the Croley Addition of Highland Park Cemetery in Williamsburg.
