Carl Shelton

Carl Shelton, 70, of Siler, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Saint Joseph Hospital, London.

He was born September 29, 1946 in Whitley County, to the late Lee Shelton and the late Nervia Lawson Shelton.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Ann Shelton.

He is survived by his son Jeff Shelton of Siler, three granddaughters, Whitney Lynn Shelton, Breigh Ann Shelton, and Kennedy Melese Shelton, one brother, J.T. Shelton (Mary) of Williamsburg; four sisters, Zelma Petrey of Williamsburg, Pearl Janet Thomas of Corbin, Wilma Fuston of Frakes, and Ruth Shelton of Corbin, several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. AJ Barton officiating.

Burial followed in the Shelton Cemetery at Siler.
