Brenda Sue Douglas
Brenda Sue Douglas, 60, of Toledo, Ohio reunited with her loving parents on the early morning of January 29, 2024, surrounded by many of her dearest loved ones.
She is survived by husband, Timothy Marvin Douglas; sister, Debbie Long (Larry); brothers, Dennis Chambers and Gary Chambers (Faye); children, Danny Thomas (Stephanie), Brooke Davidson (Ryan), Holly Douglas, Hannah Douglas, Andrew Douglas; grandchildren, Blake, Keira, Chase, Austin, Lindsay, Mya, Jaden and Gabby; along with an abundance of nieces, nephews, and other special family members and friends to mourn her passing.
Brenda was born on December 12, 1963, and raised in Toledo, Ohio, to her late parents, Chester and Marie (Rose) Chambers.
She was a proud member of Old Fashion Missionary Baptist Church where she worshipped the Lord and led the church in hymns for many years as the pianist. She spent her time as a cosmetologist doing hair and makeup and being a caregiver for home health services. Brenda was a beautiful woman full of love for anyone who crossed her path. Her extraordinary personality and infectious laugh made anyone’s day better and will be deeply missed by all.
Funeral service was Saturday, February 3, at the Llewellyn Funeral Home Chapel in Jellico, TN with Rev. Trey Brock, Rev. Ronnie Rose, Rev. Terry Brock and Rev. Robert Morrison officiating.
Interment followed in the Douglas Cemetery Wooldridge, TN.
Pallbearers were, Andrew Douglas, Bradley Huddleston, Dominic Carton, Austin Davidson, Blake Thomas, Chase Thomas and Justin Harman.
A celebration of Brenda’s life is also planned for her friends and family in the Toledo, Ohio area at a later date.
