Bobby Joe Davis Jr.

Bobby Joe Davis Jr., 54, of Combs Avenue, Corbin, departed this life on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born on October 30, 1964 in Williamsburg, to Bobby Joe Davis Sr. and Etta Lee (McVay) Davis.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Ann Davis.

He is survived by his wife, Rosalee (Cox) Davis of Corbin; son, Kevin Wayne Moses of Chattanooga, TN; daughter, Rebecca Brooke Moses of Corbin; grandchildren, Emilee Madison Rebecca Moses, Skylar Parker Rose Moses, Macie Faythe Moses, Aiden Xavier Moses, Brody Alekzander Moses and Coby Bronson Moses; parents, Bobby Joe Davis Sr. of Williamsburg and Etta Lee Davis of Rockholds; three brothers, Charles Davis of Rockholds and Donnie and Billy Davis of Williamsburg; mother-in-law, Matilda Cox of Williamsburg; very good friend, Buck Carr; many other family and friends to mourn his passing.

The funeral service was held Saturday, June 22, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chad Lynch, Rev. Ancil Campbell Jr. and Rev. James Hodge officiating.

Following the service he was laid to rest in the Wofford Cemetery. David Davis, David Carr, Madison Moses, Shannon Moses, Billy Davis and Emmanuel McVay served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers was his grandchildren.
