Betty June Gambrell

Betty June Gambrell, 77, of Covington, KY, passed over into heaven on Sunday, September 16, 2018.

Betty was born in Corbin, to the late William and Gertrude Ellison. Betty was retired from Gibson Greeting and Sola Vision.

She was a member of New Hope Tabernacle Church of God.
In her free time Betty enjoyed reading, talking to her sister, and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her brother, William Ellison Jr.
Betty is survived by her loving husband Aaron Gambrell; children, Sheila Berning, of Covington, KY, and James Gambrell, of Walton, KY; sister, Doris Ellison, of Corbin, KY; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, September 22 at the Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence, KY. Interment was held at Independence Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Betty’s name may be made payable to the American Cancer Society, 2808 Reading Road, Cincinnati, OH 45206.
