Betty Jo Baker Troxell
Betty Jo (Baker) Troxell, 89, of Crossville, TN, formerly of Jellico, TN passed away Saturday morning, August 4, 2018 at the Wyndridge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Crossville, TN.
She was born on October 22, 1928 to the late Horace Baker and Millie Ann (Davis) Baker in Jellico, TN.
She was the granddaughter of the late Robert Baker and Derinda Baker and the late John Davis and Sarah (Sowders) Davis.
She was a member of the Crouches Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents and grandparents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Riley Troxell; sister, Mary Agnes (Baker) Fredericks; brothers, Bobby Ray Baker and Carl Watts Baker.
She is survived by her son, Warren Troxell, of Crossville, TN; grandchildren, Lisa Amerson, and husband, Wade, of Alvin, TX, and Amy Steimle, and husband, Jamie, of Cincinnati, OH, Chad Troxell, of Crossville, TN and Ashley Troxell, of Cincinnati, OH; great-grandchildren, Andrew Amerson, Jacob Amerson, Ian Steimle and Ruby Steimle; special niece, Barb Bramlett, and husband, Bill, of the Saxton Community of Whitley County; numerous other nieces and nephews, and other relatives; and a host of friends to mourn her passing.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 10, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cox & Son Funeral Home Chapel.
The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation on Friday, August 10, at 1 p.m. at the Cox & Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronald Wilson officiating.
Music will be provided by Alice Bowling.
Burial will immediately follow the funeral service at the Moses Addition of Pleasant View Cemetery in Whitley County.
Cox & Son Funeral Home of Jellico is in charge of all arrangements.
