Baptist Regional Medical Center Pink Glove Video
Baptist Regional Medical Center recently created a pink glove video to honor those individuals that have battled against breast cancer. The video creates laughter and joy which is the part of life that needs to be celebrated.
Pink is the universal color for breast cancer awareness, so employees wore pink gloves as they danced to music. Over twenty different departments participated to dance with cancer survivors in the pink glove video.
The pink glove video has gone viral via You Tube and Facebook. With less then seventy-two hours, there were over seven hundred hits. It took one week to create, but the laughter will last much longer. Initially, the director of Radiology/Mammography found a pink glove video on You Tube. Then through viewing it, the concept grew, pink gloves were ordered and the final video is viewable on the Baptist Regional Medical Center Facebook page or You Tube by typing in The Pink Glove Video by Baptist Regional Medical Center.
Debbie Hardin, Marketing Coordinator stated, “This was our first time coordinating a video of this nature; however the cause in itself encouraged numerous employees to participate. We have several employees that are breast cancer survivors; they are our inspiration for creating the pink glove video. The theme to this video is breast cancer survivors will not dance alone.”
