Baker-Haney united in marriage
Alison Leigh Baker and Paul Sean Haney were united in marriage on July 4, 2009 at seven in the evening. Judge Cathy Prewitt officiated at the outdoor, double-ring ceremony which was held at the Baker home. Alison’s nephew and niece, Gabriel and Aubrey Mahan, served as the ring bearers. Family attended the event from Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, Georgia and North Dakota.
Alison is the daughter of Dr. Glen and Gail Baker of Corbin. She is the granddaughter of Oliver and Mavis Landsverk of Fosston, Minn. and the late Glen Ray and Margaret Jean Baker of Corbin.
Paul is the son of John and Bridget Gerleman of Lima, Ohio.
Alison graduated from Corbin High School in 2000 and attended the University of Kentucky School of Architecture from which she graduated in 2007. Paul attended Shawnee High School in Lima, Ohio, graduating in 1990. He then obtained his bachelor’s degree in philosophy and religion from Capital University in Columbus. He earned his master’s in business from Bluffton College, also in Ohio.
After a wedding trip to California, they are residing in Springfield, Ky. Paul works at the Mt. Brilliant Horse Farm in Lexington and Ali is working to obtain her license in Architecture and has a free-lance architectural practice.
