Whitley Fiscal Court: Occupational tax collections higher than expected

The City of Corbin will be getting $111,000 and the City of Williamsburg will be getting $42,000 more than expected from payroll tax revenue this fiscal year.

Fire damages University of the Cumberlands building

Corbin karaoke club owners press fiscal court on status of entertainment permit

It will be a little while longer before Whitley County Attorney Paul Winchester makes a recommendation as to whether Karaoke-Tyme in Corbin should receive an entertainment permit so it can operate.
