AT&T expands high-speed Internet access in Corbin

“A main point of discussion last year in Frankfort was how we could encourage the continued deployment of high-speed Internet access, and I believe this is a testament to the fact that those discussions are working, and the private sector is responding,” said Senate President Robert Stivers. “This is great news for both businesses and families throughout the Commonwealth.”

AT&T is making significant investments in its wireless and wired networks in Kentucky, extending access to high-speed internet and driving a wide range of upgrades to reliability, coverage, speed and performance for residents and business customers.

As a result of significant investments from private communications companies like AT&T, the vast majority of Kentuckians – 96.5% according to the FCC – now have access to high-speed internet.
