Arnold Lee Ball
Arnold Lee Ball, 86, of Blue Ash, OH passed away September 9, 2018 at VA Medical Center in Cincinnati.
Arnold was an avid musician, he loved singing karaoke, playing guitar, and listening to his favorite artists and bands. He had a special fondness for country music and blue grass. Arnold loved nature, and among his favorite TV shows were NOVA, and National Geographic. He enjoyed telling stories to anyone who would listen. He was very proud of his Kentucky roots, loved Williamsburg, and growing up in Whitley County.
He was a gardener and planted many different crops including tomatoes, green onions, and potatoes. He learned these skills growing up on the Ball family farm. He had many hobbies including collecting coins and pocket knives, as well as hunting and fishing. Above all else he was a man of God.
He was preceded in death by his wife Joan (Reed) Ball, daughter Debbie Ball, son Troy Ball, daughter-in-law Cheryle Ball, parents, Theodore and Helen Ball, siblings: Naomi, John, James, Jess, Enoch, Wilma, Teddy, Donald, and Raymond.
He leaves behind three sons: Dennis, Jerry (Kim), and Ricky Ball; grandchildren: Eric (Emily) Ball, Melissa (Brian) Muchmore, Travis Grey, Robert (Stephanie) Ball, and Crystal (Eric) Myers; great grandchildren: Shelbie Fackey, Lucas, and Ryan Ball, Andrew and Dylan Munchmore, and one great-great granddaughter, Allie.
He will be missed by all that knew him, and he will live on through them.
The funeral service was held Saturday, September 15, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
Following the service he was laid to rest in the Ball Family Cemetery.
