Arlis Junior McKiddy

Arlis Junior McKiddy, 59, of Highway 92 East, Williamsburg, departed this life on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard.

He was born on June 3, 1959 in Williamsburg, Kentucky to the late Elmer McKiddy and Laddie Elizabeth “Lizzie” (Hurst) McKiddy.

He was also preceded in death by his sister, Charlotte Hickman. Arlis enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Griffin of Detroit, MI and Karley Smith and husband Jacob of Siler; six grandchildren, Dennis, Destinee, Denzel, Jazmeane, Jaida and Jaiden; four sisters, Wanda McKiddy and husband Ken of Williamsburg, Thelma Sullivan of Siler, Margie Willis of Chenoa and Joyce Faulkner and husband Bill of Siler; brother, Ernest McKiddy and wife Vicki of Florence; special nieces, Tracy Rains of Williamsburg and Felicia Sullivan of Siler; several other nieces and nephews; and other family and friends to mourn his passing.

The funeral service was held Sunday, July 1, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Rose officiating.

Following the service he was laid to rest in the Croley Addition of Highland Park Cemetery.
