Apple-Soucy to announce forthcoming marriage

Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Apple of Williamsburg, Ky. would like to announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Julia Elizabeth Apple, to Andrew John Soucy, son of Daryn and Tina Barnhill of Woodstock, Ga. and Edmond Soucy of Fayetteville, N.C.
Julia is a 2006 graduate of Williamsburg High School. She graduated with honors from Eastern Kentucky University in 2010 receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. She is a second grade teacher at Kingston Elementary in Berea, Ky. Her grandparents are the late Ralph and Mary Apple of Oak Ridge, Tenn. and Evelyn Hislope and the late Lawrence Hislope of Springboro, Ohio.
Andrew is a 2006 graduate of Woodstock High School. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Fire and Safety Engineering Technology from Eastern Kentucky University in 2011. He was a member of the Eastern Kentucky University Football Team; his senior year he was an All-American and OVC Defensive Player of the Year. Andrew is the Fire and Safety Officer at Northpoint Training Center in Danville, Ky. His grandparents are Carol and Ed Soucy of Worcester, Mass., Darlene Hume of Tulsa, Okla., Larry and Linda Barnhill of Rock Hill, S.C., and the late Roberta Krals of Worcester, Mass.
Julia and Andrew will exchange their vows on June 23, 2012 at Main Street Baptist Church.
Formal invitations have been sent.
The couple will reside in Richmond, Ky.
