Anna Lee Brown

Anna Lee Brown, age 83, of Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on January 15, 2023 at her home.
Anna was born on February 27, 1939 in Buckhorn, Kentucky to Ray Deaton and Berta (Riley) Deaton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Berta (Riley) Deaton; husband of over 57 years, George (GS) Brown; brothers, Granville (Doc) Deaton and wife Mary, Crit Deaton and wife Louise, Oscar Deaton and wife Lizzie, and two infant brothers, Theodore and Kenneth Ray Deaton; sisters, Mae Bowling and husband Walter, Polly Hedge and husband Russell, and infant sister, Patsy Helen Deaton; and brother-in-law, Lloyd Bischop. She was a member of Ryans Creek Baptist Church.
Anna is survived by two sons, Gregory Brown (Paige) of Waco, Georgia and Gary Brown (Janet) of Williamsburg, Kentucky; adopted son and daughter, Eric and Angie Hartman of Williamsburg, Kentucky; two grandsons, Joshua Brown (Tiffany) and Jason Brown (Melissa), both of Tallapoosa, Georgia; great grandchildren, Kolby, Lilly, Kaiden, and Charlee; brothers, Fred Deaton (Gail) and L.M. Deaton (Ruth), both of Breathitt County, Kentucky; sister, Cleo Bischop of Norwood, Ohio; many nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, January 20, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 21, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Anthony Reaves and Rev. Herbert Wells officiating.
She will be laid to rest in the Jellico Creek Cemetery.
