Andrew “Andy” Silcox

Andrew “Andy” Silcox, age 81, of the Wooldridge Community, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Baptist Health Corbin. He was born February 22, 1939 in Jellico, Tennessee.

Andrew is preceded in death by sons, Andrew Silcox, Michael Silcox, and Cody Silcox; daughter, Robin Jacowski; grandson, Harley Kreitzer; father, Greenberry Silcox; mother, Minnie Meadows Silcox; brothers, Coy, Earl, Walter, Raymond, Clyde, and Fred Silcox; and sisters, Alice Hicks Thomas, Mossie Silcox and Flossie Beers.

He is survived by his wife, Audrey Douglas Silcox; sons, Erik Silcox and Jessica, and Mark Silcox and wife Christina; grandchildren, Marcus, Dylan, Andy, and Kayden Silcox; great-grandchildren, Reanna Jacowski, Andrea Betz and husband Jonathan, and Randi Jacowski; brothers, J.B. Silcox and wife Mary Ann, and William “Bill” Silcox; sisters, Ann Akbar and Alma Posey; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing.

Graveside service was held on Saturday, January 30, in the Douglas Cemetery (Wooldridge Community) with Rev. Junior Dople officiating.
