Alice Sue Douglas Baird

Alice Sue Douglas Baird, 68, of Lafollette, TN passed away Friday, October 28, at the Select Medical Hospital of Powell, TN.

She was born January 11, 1948 in Strunk, KY.

Sue is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dean Baird; father, Clarence Genence Douglas; Mother, Kathleen Perry Douglas.

She is survived by her daughters, Carla Lay and husband Lawrence of Rock Hill, SC; Katherine Harness and husband Troy of Robbins, TN; Tina Baird Thomas and husband Tim of Lafollette; sons, Anthony “Tony” Baird and wife Tammie of Williamsburg; Robert Baird and wife Cathy of Elk Valley; Ronald Baird of South Carolina; grandchildren, Charity Kennemore, Jerica Baird, Anthony Baird, Joshua Baird, Jordan Baird and wife Rebekah, Cheyenne Baird, Jimmy McCulley, LeAnn Hatfield, Nicholas Webb and wife Felicia, Claudia Harness, Mary Laws, Kayla Richardson, Cortney Berry, Brittany and Ashley Harness; special great grandson, Iziah Brent Richardson and Brantley; sister, Anna Lou Sexton and husband Wilbur of Oneida, TN; brothers, Howard Douglas and wife Wilda of Strunk, KY; Doyle Douglas and wife Martha of Pine Knot, KY; step mother, Thelma Douglas Raleigh; special friends, Brenda Murray and Yvonne Stephens Cornett; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing

Funeral services were held Saturday, October 29, in the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe West, Rev. Rob Perkins and Rev. Jonathan Gibson officiating.

Burial was held Sunday, October 30, in the Valley View Cemetery in Pioneer, TN.
