Alice Faye Helton

Alice Faye Helton, 76, of Woodbine passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at her residence.

She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.

Born September 16, 1941, in Williamsburg, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Eva Lambdin.

In addition to her father and mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Helton; and two sisters: Norma Jean Satterfield and Bobbie Martin.

She leaves behind her son, Gary Helton and wife Kimberly; granddaughter, Ashley Sizemore and husband Travis; three great grandchildren: Blaine, Gunner, and Brooklyn Sizemore; three brothers: James Lambdin, Glen Lambdin and wife Jo, and Willis Lambdin; two sisters: Ruth Powers and husband Everett and Marjorie Bailey and husband Delbert; and sister-in-law, Judy Brown and husband Jerry; several nieces and nephews and numerous friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services were held Sunday, December 17, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Brown and Pastor Doyle Lester officiating.

Burial followed in Terrell Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Good Hope Baptist Church 16th and Elam Street Corbin, KY 40701.
