A beautiful day for football (and cheerleading) camp
Although the Tri-County Sports Authority football and cheerleader camps were this morning, it sure doesn’t feel like football weather out there.
I spent about an hour out there I was think I lost about eight pounds (not like I couldn’t stand to lose some weight). I think everyone expected a pleasant morning out there, but it got hot pretty quickly.
On a positive not, it was great to see all of the kids out there excited about playing football. I particularly like the way the camp works because the coaches in the league are constantly walking around, scoping out the best players to draft.
Trust, me you can bet that some of the hardcore dads have let their sons know that the harder they work, the more impressed the coaches are going to be.
When you combine these two facts, you get the maximum effort from the campers.
As for the cheerleaders, I would be in big trouble if I didn’t mention how hard the campers were working while I was shooting pictures, especially since my daughter was one of them.
A big thanks to the Corbin High School cheerleaders for taking time out of their day to work with these young girls. Many of them will remember it for a long time.
I think I am going to get some lunch and go back out to the football field!
