 Time Warner Cable’s agreements with programmers and broadcasters to carry their services and stations routinely expire from time to time.  We are usually able to obtain renewals or extensions of such agreements, but in order to comply with applicable regulations, we must inform you when an agreement is about to expire.  The following agreements are due to expire soon, and we may be required to cease carriage of one or more of these services or stations in the near future: Azteca America, Azteca America HD, MLB Extra Innings, NHL Network, NHL Network HD, NHL Center Ice, Once Mexico, You Too TV, You Too TV HD, Zap2It, CCTV News, Gol TV, Gol TV HD, Jewelry TV, Once Mexico, Outdoor Channel, Outdoor Channel HD, MLB Network, MLB Network HD, MLB Extra Innings, YES Network, YES Network HD, RFD, WPSD-DT2 Antenna TV

On or about September 24, WTVW HD will be added to Starter TV on Ch. 305 and WTVW-DT2 Bounce TV will be added in Starter TV on Ch. 100 in Madisonville and Beaver Dam.   On or about September 24, WLMT HD will be added to Starter TV on Ch. 304, WLMT-DT2 MyNetwork/MeTV will be added in Starter TV on Ch. 190 in Brownsville and Ripley. TV Japan will offer a free preview October 15th through October 31st for digital customers on Ch. 367. On or after November 4th, TVG will be available on the TWC Sports Pass. TVG will remain on Ch. 149 on the Variety Pass as well. On or after November 4th, cn2 will be added on ch. 2 & 170 on Starter TV, this channel will require a digital set-top box to be viewed. October 17th, Jewelry TV will be available on Ch. 85 on Starter TV, a digital set-top box will be required to view this channel

Notice of Blasting Schedule

Alden Resources, LLC, 332 W. Cumberland Parkway, Corbin, KY  40701, phone number (606)523-9760, gives notice that blasting operations will be conducted on its coal mine permit number 918-0447, covering 633.43 acres. Latitude: 36° 47’ 01.68”, Longitude: 84° 03’ 37.63”

The proposed operation is located approximately 0.5 miles north of Perkins, Kentucky, and is approximately 0.80 miles east of the Maple Creek Road junction with Brown Creek Road and located 3.9 miles north of the mouth of Maple Creek.

Blasting operations are projected to commence from September 2014 to September 2015.  Blasting will be conducted between sunrise and sunset except in emergency situations.  Emergency situations include, but are not limited to, lightning, the imminent threat of lightning, or other circumstances that require unscheduled detonation for the safety of the public or miners.

Signs or barriers identify entry points to the blast area.  A representative or representatives of the permittee will monitor the access point(s) and prevent entry of unauthorized persons during the blast.

The pre-blast warning signal will be a one (1) minute series of long blasts five (5) minutes prior to the blast signal.  The final blast warning signal will be a series of short blasts one (1) minute prior to the detonation.  The all clear signal will be a prolonged blast following the inspection of the blast area.

AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE PROPERTY TAX RATE FOR THE YEAR 2014 – Ordinance 14-004

Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Williamsburg, Kentucky, the 2014 tax rate for Real Property shall be .2850 cents per $100 dollar valuation. Personal Property including automobiles shall be .3567 cents per $100 dollar valuation.

Any City Property taxes unpaid as of January 1, 2015 shall be assessed a penalty of Ten (10) percent, as well as interest at the rate of six (6) percent until paid.
