What better way to end Senior Night than a dramatic, one-point overtime win against a rival team to put you on top of the district standings? Well, that is exactly how the nigt ended for the Corbin Redhounds Friday when they defeated the Bell County Bobcats in overtime thanks to a touchdown reception from senior Kenny Hopper, and a game-winning defensive stand when Bell was going for two after scoring a touchdown of their own. The 21-20 win puts Corbin at 7-1 on the year and extends their win streak to six games in a row since losing to Pulaski County to open the season. Next week they will travel for their final district game of the 2014 regular season against Casey County. Also Friday, the Williamsburg Yellow Jackets are just two wins away from a perfect 10-0 record this year after defeating Berea on the road 48-21, the Lynn Camp Wildcats were shutout 60-0 at Campbellsville, and the Whitley County Colonels came from behind to pick up their second district win in a row, defeating Harlan County 34-32.
