Louis Wayne Rose

Louis Wayne Rose, age 76, of Corbin, Kentucky departed this life on Monday, June 5, 2023 at the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Corbin, Kentucky.
He was born on June 8, 1946 in Corbin, Kentucky to George D. Rose and Florence (Brown) Rose.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Florence (Brown) Rose and a son, Darrell Rose.
Wayne was a member of the Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Rockholds, Kentucky.
He is survived by his son, Tim Rose (wife Laura) of Corbin, Kentucky; grandchildren, Chris Blankenship, Shawn Perkins, Quinton Rose, Lindsey Steele, Katelyn Rose, and Paige Rose; six great-grandchildren; brother, Tony M. Rose (Kathy) of Upton, Kentucky; sister, Joyce Ann Roark of Nobleville, Indiana; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Logan officiating.
He will be laid to rest in the Youngs Cemetery on Youngs Cemetery Road, Corbin, Kentucky.
