Eva (Kiss) Lay

Eva (Kiss) Lay, age 70, of Jellico, passed away Monday May 22, 2023, at her home.
She was born January 11, 1953, in Szentendre, Hungary.
Eva is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Cledith Ray Lay, Sr; son, Timothy Allen Lay; mother, Rosa Rozalia Kovari; andfather, Dezzi Kiss;
Loved ones to mourn her passing are her children, her beloved daughter and caregiver Rebecca Barton (Chris), Tina Martin (Zack), Cledith Lay, Jr. (Becky), Derrick Lay (Sabrina), Holly Lay, Keith Schulien, and Rodney Morin, Sr; grandchildren, David Chadwell, Jr., Joshua Lay, Hunter Chadwell (Kim), Heather Chadwell, Matthew Chadwell, Cledith Lay, III., Gage Heatherly (Paige), Elijah Lay, Lily Lay, Brentlee Lay, and Maddox Lay; great-grandchildren, Gabriella Baird, Carter Chadwell, Camden Chadwell, and (on the way) Greyson Chadwell; sisters, Elizabeth Allen, Georgian Stukas, Anna Pace, and Mary Lewandowski; several other bonus children and grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews and other family members and friends; her dear friend and physician for 40 plus years (and the only person she would ever listen to), Dr. Humayun Kabir.
Funeral was Saturday, May 27, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. D.J. Osborn officiating.
Burial followed in the Douglas Cemetery in the Wooldridge Community.
