Joe Mefford

Joe Mefford, age 80, of Jellico, Tennessee passed away Saturday, April 29. 2023 at Baptist Health Corbin. He was born October 19, 1942 in Jellico, Tennessee.
Joe is preceded in death by father, Edd Mefford; mother, Ethel (Bowlin) Honeycutt; brothers, Carl Bowlin, Ray Honeycutt, Dee Mefford, Harold “Poss” Honeycutt, and Homer Bowlin; and sister, Carolyn Honeycutt.
He is survived by son, Joe Anderson; daughter, Tracy Anderson; brother, Cecil Honeycutt and wife Janet; special sister-in-law, Frankie Bowlin; special nieces, Donna Logan, and Carolyn Blankenship; special nephews, James Logan, Johnny Honeycutt, and Cecil Honeycutt; and a host of other nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 5 from 12 until 2 pm at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral service will be Friday, May 5, at 2 pm at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Junior Dople officiating.
Burial will follow in the Douglas Cemetery in the Wooldridge Community.
