REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR AUDITING SERVICES
The City of Corbin is Accepting Scaled Proposals for Auditing Services. Specifications may be obtained from and proposals shall be submitted to the office of the City Clerk, Corbin City Hall, 805 South Main Street, Corbin, KY, 40701, 606-528-0669, or tori.brock@corbin-ky.gov. Sealed proposals must be received in the office of the City Clerk by 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Proposal openings will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Corbin City Hall in the upstairs meeting room. The City of Corbin reserves the right to accept/reject any or all bids.
INVITATION TO BID
The Corbin Board of Education will accept sealed proposals for Auditor (CPA) for the financial accounts of the Corbin Independent School District for fiscal year 2022-2023. Proposal forms can be obtained at the Corbin Board of Education, 108 Roy Kidd Avenue, Corbin, Kentucky 40701, Monday through Friday during regular office hours from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm. All proposals to be considered must be received by Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 2:00pm. Proposals received after the scheduled closing time will be returned unopened to the bidder. The Corbin Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive informalities. The Whitley County Board of Education will accept sealed proposals for audit services for the financial accounts of the Whitley County Board of Education for the fiscal year 2022-2023. Please contact Alicia Logan, Finance Officer or Jack Lawson, Assistant Finance Officer at the Whitley County Board of Education, 300 Main Street, Williamsburg, Kentucky 40769, Monday through Friday, during regular office hours from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. for a copy of the Request for Proposal and complete specifications. Proposal deadline is Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Proposals received after the scheduled closing time will be returned unopened to the bidder. The Whitley County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and to waive informalities.
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID
The Whitley County Fiscal Court is seeking SEALED BIDS for 3 Lochinvar Gas Boilers for the Whitley County Detention Center.
All Bids shall be marked on a SEALED envelope “JAIL BOILERS”.

Vendors must submit their SEALED bids to the Whitley County Judge/Executive at the Whitley County Courthouse, 200 Main Street, or mailed to P.O. Box 237 Williamsburg, Kentucky, 40769 on or before 10:00 a.m. local time on March 20, 2023, at which time bids will be opened and read aloud. Bids will then be presented to the Fiscal Court at the regular scheduled meeting at 4:00 pm on March 21, 2023.
Conflicts of interest, gratuities and kickbacks are defined in KRS 45A.445 and as provided for in KRS 45A.445 are absolutely prohibited.
No bidder may withdraw his/her bid for 90 days after the date the bids are opened. Any bid received after the time specified shall not be considered and will be returned unopened to the bidder.

The Whitley County Fiscal Court may make purchase(s) using funds received under the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds program pursuant to the American Rescue Plan Act (“ARPA”). The use of ARPA funds for purchases obligates the bidder or seller to comply with certain terms and conditions, program regulations, without limitation, set forth in 2 C.F.R, Part 200, and other applicable law. Any selected bidder will be required to execute a purchase agreement including, without limitation, a requirement that such bidder will adhere to the requirements attached to ARPA funds.

There will be a MANDATORY Pre-Bid meeting on Monday, April 3, 2023 at 10 am in the Whitley County Fiscal Courtroom on the 2nd floor of the old Courthouse, bid specs will be handed out at that time. Any contractor wishing to bid on this project must attend this meeting.

BID NOTICE:
Sealed proposal for the following work will be received by the Whitley County Fiscal Court in the manner, and the date hereinafter specified for the furnishing of all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, services, etc., necessary for the installation of 825 feet of guardrail and 6 terminal sections.
Contractors must submit their sealed proposals to the Whitley County Judge Executive, at the Whitley County Courthouse, 210 Main Street, Williamsburg, Kentucky, on or before 10:00 a.m. local time on April 17th, 2023. Proposal envelopes or packages must be clearly marked Croley Bend Guardrail, on the front of the envelope or package. At this time bids will be opened, and read aloud. Bids will be presented to, and awarded at the regular scheduled meeting, of the Whitley County Fiscal Court, which takes place at 4:00 p.m., on April 18th, 2023.
Contractor must provide proof of liability insurance, a bid bond equal to 10% of bid price, and a performance bond.
Cost estimates will be based on the installation of 825 feet of guardrail and 6 terminal sections.
