A Corbin man led police on a high speed chase from Tennessee into Kentucky Wednesday afternoon in a stolen vehicle while allegedly trying to kill multiple officers, including Kentucky State Police officers and Whitley County Sheriff Bill Elliotte, while having an AR-15 rifle and drugs in his possession, according to court records.
Woodburn J. Schlicht, 61, of Bee Creek Road, is currently lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of a $75,000 cash bond on 34 charges, many of which are felony offenses.
