BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENT
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND MEETING
You are hereby notified that the Board of Zoning Adjustment for the City of Williamsburg, Kentucky, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. at Williamsburg City Hall Council Chambers located at 423 Main Street, Williamsburg, Kentucky, to consider an application filed by Jordan Akins for a conditional use permit to build two (2) multi-family dwellings, specifically two (2) triplex units, in an R-2 District on property located on a vacant lot on High Street in Williamsburg, Kentucky. Immediately after conclusion of the public hearing the Board of Adjustment will hold a meeting to consider said application.

Please take notice that the City of Williamsburg, Whitley County, Kentucky, provides the following statement pursuant KRS 424.220 and KRS 91A.040 (6). The City of Williamsburg has completed its annual audit for the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 and copies are on file with the City of Williamsburg. A copy will be provided upon request at a cost not to exceed 25 cents per page.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Proposals for the following work will be received by the Whitley County Fiscal Court in the manner and on the date hereinafter specified for the furnishing of all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, services, etc., necessary for the remodel of the exterior of the old Whitley County Courthouse.
All Bids shall be marked on the sealed envelope “Exterior Repair & Painting”
SPECS:
Replace several wood rotted areas in various locations around all four sides of the eves atop the roof line.
Re-caulk all windows and reseal all vents around the courthouse and replace all light bulbs in the courthouse eves and replace damaged chandelier, cleanout and clear all gutters, seal down spouts, repair any concrete damage to the building, place a boot or other seal for the coaxial cable coming into the building
PAINTING: Painting project includes all columns and bases, all panels and eves.
PRE-BID MEETING: There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting and walk around to review the specs on this project for any contractor wishing to bid on December 9th, 2022 at 10:00 AM.
Contractors must submit their bids to the Whitley County Judge Executive at the Whitley County Courthouse, 200 Main Street, or mailed to P.O. Box 237 Williamsburg, Kentucky, 40769 on or before 2:00 p.m. local time on December 19th, 2022 at which time bids will be opened and read aloud. Bids will then be presented to the Fiscal Court at the regular scheduled meeting at 4:00 pm December 20th, 2022.

Conflicts of interest, gratuities and kickbacks are defined in KRS 45A.445 and as provided for in KRS 45A.445 are absolutely prohibited.
No bidder may withdraw his/her bid for 90 days after the date the bids are opened. Any bid received after the time specified shall not be considered and will be returned unopened to the bidder.
