Robert Lee Garrett

Robert Lee Garrett, age 82, of Clairfield, Tennessee went to his heavenly home on Thursday October 13, 2022.
He was born July 7, 1940, in Rock Creek of Clairfield, Tennessee.
Robert loved his family, he loved to hunt and be outdoors and enjoyed watching westerns. He started working as a coal miner at the age of 17.
Robert is preceded in death by sons, Jimmy Garrett and Timothy Dean Garrett; granddaughter, Amanda Gilbert; mother of their children, Rosie (Marlow) Garrett; parents, Lonnie and Edith (King) Garrett; brothers, Ancil and Donnie Garrett; and sister, Shirley Garrett.
He is survived by sons, Gary Garrett, David Garrett and wife Peggy; daughters, Peggy Thomas and husband Lonnie, and Melissa Hatfield all of Clairfield, Tennessee; grandchildren, Abby Garrett, Fleshia King, Crystal King, Sabrina Hatfield and Daniel Hatfield; great-grandchildren, Hannah Grady, Adriene Powell and husband Johnathan, Matilyn King, Destiny Hamblin, Luke Brown, Haley Waldroop, Logan Waldroop, Desmond Gilbert and Peyton Gilbert; great-great grandchild, Brynlee Gerber; brothers, John “JP” Garrett and wife Jan, Benny Garrett and wife Lavenda, Chucky Garrett and wife Patsy, and “KQ” Garrett; sisters, Patty Jo Malicoat and husband Donnie, Mollie Chisamore and husband Larry, Diane Garland, and Judy Garrett; special nurses: Andrew Ayers and Vivian Knuckles of Smoky Mountain Hospice; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing.
Funeral service was Monday, October 17, at Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lonnie Lyke, officiating.
Burial was Tuesday, October 18, in the Clairfield Baptist Church Cemetery.
