SCHOOL SURPLUS SALE

Williamsburg City School will be selling school furniture. Items such as office chairs, storage and filing cabinets, student desks, teacher desks, bookshelves, and a variety of tables. These will be sealed bids. Biding and viewing will start August 1st and run through August 10th at 4:00pm. Items sold individually or in lots.

The sealed bids will be turned into Shawna in the superintendent’s office. Payment will be in the form of cash or check. Williamsburg City School has the right to accept or reject all bids.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MINE

Pursuant to Application Number 918-0508, Transfer

In accordance with 405 KAR 8:010, notice is hereby given that KLA Mining, Inc 121 Vermillion Ave Whitesburg, KY 41858 intends to transfer permit number 918-0492, to EN Enterprises, LLC 121 Vermillion Ave Whitesburg, KY 41858. The new permit number will be 918-0508. The operation will disturb 102.60 surface acres and will underlie 0.0 acres, and the total area within the permit boundary will be 102.60 acres. No new acreage is affected by the transfer.

The operation is located 1.0 miles south of Duckrun in Whitley County. The operation is approximately 0.5 miles east from intersection of KY 1673 and Kidd Road and located 0.5 miles west of Jacks Creek. The operation is on the Hollyhill USGS 7½ minute quadrangle map at latitude 36 42 52, and longitude 84 42 52.

The application has been filed for public inspection at the Department for Surface Mining and Reclamation and Enforcement’s Middlesboro Kentucky Regional Office, 1804 East Cumberland Ave., Middlesboro, KY 40965.  Written comments, objections, or requests for a permit conference must be filed with the Director, Division of Permits 300 Sower Boulevard, 2nd Floor, Frankfort, KY 40601. All comments or objections must be received within 15 days of today’s date.
