Margie Rice Turner

Margie Rice Turner, 93, long time resident of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away at Legacy Reserve in Lexington, Kentucky on May 17, 2022.
She was a longtime member of Central Baptist Church in Corbin.
Margie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Wiley Turner, Jr; her parents, Leonard and Eva Melton Rice; two brothers; and six sisters.
She is survived by her children, Leonard Turner (Brenda) of London, Kentucky, Bobby R Turner (Chris) of Lexington, and Jerry Lynn Turner (Kathy) of Fort Myers, Florida; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Norma (Rice) Maze and Gloria (Rice) Griffin both of Florida; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 21, from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 2:00 pm.
Entombment will be at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily, Kentucky.
