James Everett Angel
James Everett Angel, age 69, of the Emlyn Community in Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at the Beech Tree Manor in Jellico, Tennessee
James was born on May 14, 1952 to the late Martin Roosevelt Angel and Marie (White) Angel.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, J. C. Angel, William Angel, Wes Angel, and Larry Angel; and sisters, Barbara Spencer and Ollie Lee Angel.
He was an active member of Emlyn VFD, also on the 3-Point VFD, South Whitley VFD, Patterson Creek VFD, Pleasant View VFD, and Western Central VFD.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Annie Lou (Foley) Angel of Williamsburg; three sons, Paul Angel (Angela) of Williamsburg, James Angel (Buffy) of Lexington, and Travis Angel of Williamsburg; daughter, Brenda Angel of Williamsburg; ten grandchildren, Chelbie Petrey, Shiloh Fore, Madison Canada, Rachel Monroe, Dedra Angel, Whitney Shelton, Breigh Shelton, Kennedy Shelton, Daimeon Sheffield, and Grace Huffman; eleven great-grandchildren, Grant Mason, Tineley Fore, Laikyn Fore, Baylor Jackson, Asher Smith, Dannile Millikan, Mason Monroe, Colton Gray, and Daxton Ponder; brother, David Angel of Jellico, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral service was Sunday, April 3, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chucky Evans officiating.
He was laid to rest in the Highland Cemetery in Williamsburg, Kentucky.
