George R. Collins

George R. Collins, age 59, of Corbin, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Ky.
Born in Benham, Ky, he was the son of William Thomas Collins, Sr. and Martha Creech Collins.
George was a U.S. Army veteran and had been a delivery truck driver for Pepsi Cola of Corbin.
In addition to his father, William; he was preceded in death by his brother, William Thomas “Tommy” Collins, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila D. Collins; mother, Martha Collins; son, Tyler R. Collins and his fiancé, Meghan, and their unborn daughter; stepsons, Ryan Sizemore and wife Whitney, and Dylan Sizemore and his fiancé Nikki; four grandchildren, Eli, Caynan, Micah, and Noah; and by numerous other family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at the Monhollen Cemetery on Fifth Street Road with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating.
Military honors will be given by the Keavy D.A.V. Chapter 158.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the American Cancer Society. Donations can be made online and dedicated to George at www.cancer.org.
