Venus Lee Barnett

Venus Lee Barnett, age 49, of Corbin, KY, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Baptist Health Corbin.

She was born March 12, 1972 in Dayton, OH to the late Robert Lewis Barnett, Jr. and Marsha Barnett. Along with her father she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ray and Alberta Chato, and Robert Lewis Barnett, Sr.

She is survived by four children, Ashley McVay (Billy) of Williamsburg, KY, James Caddell (Jessica) of Williamsburg, KY, Casey Caddell of Williamsburg, KY, and Megan Tirey (Dalton) of Corbin, KY; 11 grandchildren; mother, Marsha Barnett of Corbin, KY; grandmother, Mildred Thompson of OH; three brothers, Dewayne Barnett (Margaret) of Corbin, KY, Elijah Barnett (Kim) of Corbin, KY, and John Barnett (Mary) of Corbin, KY; several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral service was Monday, November 22, at Ellison Funeral Home with Rev. Jerome Cox officiating. Interment was in Young Cemetery.
