Nancy Lawson

Nancy Lawson, age 93, of Williamsburg, KY, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Christian Health Center.

She was born April 28, 1928 in Whitley County, KY to the late Ben and Ellen Carr Boyd. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Lawson; a brother, Sam Boyd; a sister, Francis Hill; three brothers-in-law, Ancil Hill, Jim Gilmore, and Wayne Jocelyn; and sisters-in-law, Jeanette Boyd and Robbie Boyd.

She is survived by three sisters, Verna Hill of Portage, IN, Thelma Gilmore of Williamsburg, KY, and Nadine Jocelyn of Williamsburg, KY; brother, Ben Boyd, Jr. of Maryville, IN; one brother-in-law, Vernon Hill of Trenton, OH; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews to mourn her passing.

Funeral service was held on Monday, October 25, at Ellison Funeral Home with Bro. James McCracken officiating. Interment was in Whetstone Cemetery.
