Carl Brummett

Carl Brummett, age 74, of Williamsburg, KY, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Bluegrass Hospice Center in Lexington, KY. He was born August 9, 1946 in Whitley County, KY to the late Andy J. and Judy Mae Scarborough Brummett.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Relda Douglas Brummett; daughter, Judy Brummett Amsberry; granddaughter, Lorrie Brummett; brothers and sisters, J. R. Brummett, Laura Brummett, Eugene Brummett, Selma Brummett Owens, Henrietta Brummett Taylor, Shirley Ann Taylor, Mary Brummett Rice, Betty Roberson, and Evelyn Frankie Yates.

He is survived by two sons, Emanuel Brummett (Patricia) of Williamsburg, KY, and Steve D. Brummett; five grandchildren, Dennis C. Nelson, Ronnie E. Vanderpool, Madison Anderson, Barbara D. Vanderpool, and Emanuel Brummett, Jr.; 11 great-grandchildren, Annabelle Nelson, Addyson Nelson, Axel Nelson, Landon Vanderpool, Kalvin Vanderpool, Makara Vanderpool, Ariella Vanderpool, Jayda Brummett, Dawson Vanderpool, Adrian Soto, and Aleigha Smothers; one brother, Charles Joseph Brummett; several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral service was held on Saturday, March 27, at Ellison Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Woodward and Rev. Billy Carpenter officiating. Interment was in Highland Park Cemetery Davis Addition.
