Health department seeks vaping ban in public buildings

Vaping or the use of e-cigarettes is increasing not just locally but across the country, especially among teenagers.

Whitley County Health Department Public Health Director Marcy Rein asked the Williamsburg City Council to extend the city’s smoking ordinance to include vaping in public buildings.
From a health perspective, the problem with vaping just nicotine is that it is far more potent than the nicotine you get from smoking a cigarette.
