Charlie Young

Charlie Young, 88, of Williamsburg, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Williamsburg Health and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born in Gatliff, Ky. on February 23, 1931 to the late Russ and Nannie Siler Young.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife; Dorothy Young; son, Jeffrey Young; granddaughter, Mercedes Young; two brothers, Bob Young and Lloyd Young.

He is survived by son; Chuck Young (Tammy) of Williamsburg; grandson, Gavin Jeffrey Young; three sisters, Rosa Branscum of Cincinnati, OH, Bertha Suttles (Chamler) of Cincinnati, OH, Dora Hamby of Williamsburg; two brothers, James Young (Maggie) of Cincinnati, OH, John Young (Shirley) of Cincinnati, OH, several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

The funeral service was held Monday, April 15, at Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doyle Lester officiating.

Interment was in the Young Family Cemetery.
