Charles Elmer Rhinehart

Charles Elmer Rhinehart, 92, of Corbin, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at his home. He was born September 19, 1925 in Williamsburg.

Charles is preceded in death by a son: Joel Rhinehart; daughter, Patricia Ann Rhinehart; first wife, Virginia Rhinehart; second wife, Stella Rhinehart; father, Grant Rhinehart; mother, Myrtle Pratt Rhinehart; brother, Elonzo Rhinehart; sister, Julie Rhinehart; daughters-in-law, Lora Rhinehart, and Jewell Rogers Rhinehart.

He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Rogers Rhinehart; son, Charles Grant Rhinehart; grandchildren, Charles G. Rhinehart, Jr., Kim Warren and husband Tom; great grandchildren, Aderana and Kitty; two special caregivers: Connie and Donna; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing.

The funeral services were held Friday, August 24, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Craig officiating.

Burial followed in the Douglas Cemetery (Wooldridge Community).

Harp Funeral Home of Jellico was in charge of arrangements.
