Travis Lawson

Travis Lawson, 32, of Lexington, and formerly of Corbin departed this life on Friday, August 3, 2018 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.

He was born on October 21, 1985 in Corbin, to the late Robert Henry Lawson and Ima Jean (Centers) Lawson.

Travis was a project manager and estimator for Randy Walker Electrical and Communications Company.

He is survived by his fiancé Scarlet Wagner and her daughter Lexi of Lexington; his aunts, Mary Stamper of Corbin, Pat Heath of Knoxville, TN, Hannah Wright of Pine Knot, and Vicky Paul, Fran Paul and Tina Lawson of Williamsburg; uncles, Jimmy Paul and Gary Paul of Williamsburg; and a host other family and friends to mourn his passing.

The funeral service was held Monday, August 6, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bennie Bush officiating.

Following a graveside service on Tuesday, August 7, he was laid to rest in the Jellico Creek Cemetery.

Travis gave the Gift of Life through the Kentucky Organ Donor Association.
