Darlene A. Alder

Darlene A. Alder, 77 of Williamsburg, passed away Monday July 23, 2018 at North Knoxville Medical Center in Powell, TN.

She was born May 16, 1941 in Zelienople, Pennsylvania to the late Blair R. and Helen Kennedy Zeigler.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Elmer Alder Sr.

She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Matye (Paul) of Powell, TN, Deanna Kistner of Williamsburg; three grandchildren, Kayla Bloomer, Austin Bloomer, Allie Matye; great grandchild, Reed Crowder; step daughter, Pam Creekmore (Jimmy) of Williamsburg; step-son, Elmer Alder Jr. (Wookena) of Covington; brother, Bruce Zeigler of Zelienople, PA and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

The funeral service was held Friday, July 27, at Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Elmer Alder Jr. and Rev. Gerald Mullins officiating. Interment will be in the Emlyn Cemetery.
