Dennis Carter

Dennis Carter, 78, of Williamsburg, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Continue Care Hospital Corbin.

He was born July 25, 1939 in Neosho, MO to the late Harry and Mable Eaton Carter.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Linda Carter and seven brothers and sisters.

He is survived by son; Shawn Carter (Angela) of Williamsburg; four grandchildren; Joshua Carter (Samantha), P.J. Carter (Taylor), Nathan Carter and Matthew Kirby; five great grandchildren; Jacob, Elizabeth, Faith, Jace and Liara; two sisters; Patsy Zumwalt and Donna Faye Lindenfelser both of Seneca, MO; brother; Joe Carter of Mosbie, MO, several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday April 4, at Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerome Cox officiating.

Military graveside honors will be conducted by American Legion Post 88, of Corbin, KY.

Interment will be in Whitley Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 12 Noon until the funeral hour Wednesday April 4, at the funeral home.
