A.D. Lambdin

A.D. Lambdin, 86, of Shelton Road, Williamsburg, departed this life on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at his home.

He was born on July 13, 1931 in Whitley County.

He was preceded in death by his father, Matt Partin; step-mother, Argie Partin; wife, Eula (Rose) Lambdin; two sons, Tony Lambdin and Ted Lambdin; son-in-law, Lonnie Bays; grandparents, Jason and Maggie Lambdin; and special aunt and uncle, Mae and Charlie Rose.

A.D. was a charter member of Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by two daughters, Deanna Bays and Jan Lambdin of Williamsburg; two sons, Pete Lambdin and wife Charlene of Lily and Carl Lambdin and wife Joyce of Williamsburg; eleven grandchildren, James Bays, Jodie Bays, Chris Lambdin, Adam Lambdin, Anthony Lambdin, Angie Lambdin, Gary Dean Lambdin, Chad Lambdin, Casey Lambdin, Jay Cea Lambdin-Cheek; 14 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Deloris Jones of Clairfield, TN, Diane Osborne of Speedwell, TN, Dorcas Smith and Debbie Cobb of LaFollette, TN and Devada Wolfenbarger of Harrogate, TN; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 28, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Rose and Rev. Waylon Mason officiating.

Following the service he will be laid to rest in the Rose Family Cemetery on Mud Creek.
